The AMTA CO Chapter Event Sports Massage Team Director is looking for more therapists to work Day 1 of The Great-West MS 150 bike event on Saturday, June 25, in Fort Collins. Therapists make close to $300 that day and that is including tips and donating to the charity and the chapter. It costs $50 to join as a new member of the team and $35 as a renewing-member. You will arrive at 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. to help put up the tents and set up. You will work from about 10:30 a.m. - 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. and then help take down the tents.

Please note that you need to include a certificate/diploma from a massage school stating 500 or more hours of training (unless you are renewing and we already have it on file), a transcript stating 28 hours of sports massage training, a copy of your Liability Insurance, a filled out W-9 Form (www.irs.gov), a copy of your Colorado Registration through DORA, and a copy of your resume is optional.

As a new member your fee includes a name tag and team t-shirt. Maureen can fill you in on the logistics and expectations of serving on the team. It is exciting to work on the team, a means of earning some extra income, and great PR for yourself, the profession and AMTA.
